300 BLK – 10.5 in – HRN 190gr SUB-X – Hodgdon H-110

Objective:

I am developing this load to be shot out of an SBR with a suppressor. This will mainly be used to hunt hogs at night at distances less than 100 yards. The goal is to find a powder that produces reasonable accuracy (~ 1 MOA) and consistent velocities around 1,050 fps.

  • Date: 10/8/22
  • Temperature: 60F
Firearm:
  • Barrel: Roscoe Bloodline 10.5” 1:7 Twist

Results:
  • 9.3 Grains
  • 9.7 Grains
Summary:

With 9.3gr of Hodgdon H-110 the velocities were just a little higher than the target. However, the accuracy wasn’t what I was looking for and this load didn’t lock my bolt back on the last round. I found other loads that performed better durring my testing and this wouldn’t be my 1st choice.
