Remarks:
I developed this load here: 350 Legend – 12.5in – HRN 170gr SP – IMR4227 for my 12.5″ 350 Legend. This load was also confirmed in an 18″ rifle HERE. (5/21/22) – This 115 lb. sow was quartered away @ 60 yards and I hit her right behind her front shoulder facing me. She dropped immediately and stopped kicking quickly. The bullet exited out of the opposite front shoulder and destroyed it. The other three quarters were taken and will be eaten this hunting season.

Summary:
This is the 2nd hog that I’ve taken with this rifle. The first was a 250+lb. boar shot with factory Hornady 170gr SSP, he ran about 75 yards into the woods at night, so we didn’t find him until the next day. This round is super impressive on hogs. For deer, I would recommend not shooting high shoulder with this round as it will destroy one or both of the front quarters.
